Walter Capellmann has been a Senior Advisor to Deekeling Arndt/AMO since 2016. He is the founder and owner of Capellmann Consulting, a company that specialises in strategy, brand positioning and communications management. Walter has many years of C-level experience in supporting and guiding financial services providers (banks and insurance companies), especially on their path to entering markets.
During his career he has worked in international companies and has held consulting mandates, resulting in over 30 years of experience in corporate leadership, marketing and communications. He has co-authored a number of books and was also involved in writing Future of Finance and Reinventing Financial Services. As a lecturer and speaker, he also regularly gives talks on topics around financial services.
Dr Folke Rauscher has been a Senior Advisor since 2016. With his extensive corporate and consulting experience, Folke supports us in our Capital Market activities. As co-owner and managing partner of a financial communications agency in Zurich, his consulting focus is on investor relations, equity/debt stories, transaction consulting and shareholder activism.
Folke holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and a PhD in Computational Finance. From 1996 to 2011, he worked within the Daimler Group, among other things as CFO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services in Brussels and Investor Relations Manager in Stuttgart.
Dr Martina Rudy is one of our Senior Advisors. She advises companies in the energy industry in the area of process and organisational optimisation. A key part of this work is managing complex change processes – especially in small and medium-sized enterprises. The main focuses of her work are the remunicipalisation of the energy industry (in particular taking into account public-private partnerships) and the area of concession and regulatory management.
Upon obtaining her engineering doctorate degree at RWTH Aachen University, Martina worked in various leading positions in the raw materials and automotive industries as well as in the energy sector, most recently as managing director of syna GmbH, where she placed a strong focus on the interplay and partnership between companies and municipal shareholders.
Norbert Schneider is a lawyer and Senior Advisor to Deekeling Arndt/AMO. Norbert spent 25 years working for the European Commission (until 1991) and as head of EON SE’s office in Brussels (incl. the predecessor company Veba AG, from 1991 to 2013). He worked as an advisor on various important legislative procedures regarding energy and industry policies as well as many corporate transactions in Brussels. Norbert joined Deekeling Arndt/AMO in 2014.
Peter Strieder is a Senior Advisor. With his many years of experience as a politician and political advisor, the former state chair of the Berlin SPD primarily supports the Deekeling Arndt/AMO Policy team of experts. The focus of his advisory activities is on political representation of interests, especially on matters of construction, environment, energy and health policy.
Peter studied law and held a number of top political positions in Berlin – e.g. as senator for urban development, environmental protection and technology between 1996 and 2004. Since leaving active politics, he has been working as a lawyer and political advisor.
David Stürken is an IPO and privatisation specialist. He has more than 20 years’ experience working with European, American and Asian companies. Based in London, he primarily supports clients in M&A transactions and capital measures as well as in their efforts to become more visible in the British, German, Swiss and French media.
David speaks four languages and has worked on more than 50 equity capital market transactions and some of the world's biggest privatisations in a number of markets. Some examples of the companies he has worked with are: EADS (Airbus Group), Deutsche Telekom, Lufthansa, Deutsche Post, Enel, Swisscom, Telefónica, Unicredit, Europcar, Linde, Mannesmann, Bayer/Agfa, Hoechst/Celanese, France Telecom/Orange, Daimler-Benz, adidas and Deutsche Börse.
Margareta Wolf is one of our Senior Advisors. She provides strategic guidance to companies on economic and financial market matters as well as environmental and energy issues. Communications in these areas is one of the main aspects of her work. The areas she focuses on include political analysis, advice on political processes, development of communications strategies and political networking activities.
Margareta was a member of the German parliament (Bundestag) for 13 years, acting as spokesperson on economic policy for the directorate of the green party Bündnis 90/Die Grünen. Until 2005, she was parliamentary state secretary in the Federal Ministry for the Environment.
